It’s National Animal Shelter and Rescue Appreciation Week, so we’re sharing our favorite local shelters (and sharing a lot…and I do mean a lot…of pictures of our pets).

Protesting, reeducating, donating, listening to Black voices, voting – these are all social justice activities we must incorporate into our daily lives. But today, I want to focus on community support for Black-owned businesses in Connecticut.
